Whole 30

Back to Basics- Part One- Clean Taco Seasoning (Whole30/Paleo)

Hiya!

Amanda here!!

I’ve been wanting to share some more recipes lately so I thought I would go back to the basics.

In my house, we make tacos at least once a week. No, that’s not even a joke. My love for Mexican food runs deep! For years now I’ve been making my own taco seasoning and I’ve had people ask me time and time again what I use, so I thought I would share.

Processed with MOLDIV

Clean Taco Seasoning

1 tbsp Chili powder

2 tsp Cumin

1 1/2 tsp Paprika

1 tsp Oregano

1 tsp Salt

1/2 tsp Garlic powder

1/2 tsp Onion powder

1/4 tsp Cayenne powder

Mix it all together and find a cute storage container for it!

This is good on pretty much anything; Chicken or steak for fajitas, ground beef or turkey, eggs, sauteed onions and bell peppers, I’ve even used it on homemade fries! It gives anything that delicious Mexican flavor! The key is to use good quality spices with no additives in them! Just like with anything for Whole30- read your labels!

Happy cooking! Stay tuned for more Whole30 compliant and Paleo recipes! There are more coming very soon! 🙂

xoxo,

Amanda
